Here's an outline of how I can work
​with you and what my rate covers

What could happen when I work with you:

  1. We'll have an initial phone, Skype or face-to-face chat so I can understand your requirements.
  2. I'll ask for a written brief: an overview of the work, with any specific points or stylistic features you want to include.
  3. I'll read any background information you have, or previous articles, papers or brochures. This helps me to understand your style, tone and content.
  4. I'll conduct any interviews or research needed to craft the copy.
  5. I'll then draft the article to meet your style, length and deadline, and submit it along with my invoice.
  6. After you and your stakeholders have had time to review and approve the draft, I'll make one round of reasonable amends.
  7. I'll submit the second draft to you for final sign-off.

And here's how I charge:

I tend to work on a day-rate, with a minimum half-day charge.

My payment terms are 30 days from invoice and the rate may vary depending on:

  • the quantity of work
  • the complexity
  • the deadline
